1. Insufficient or excess level of liquid in automatic transmission leads to a unit exit out of operation.

2. Level should be checked after a trip in the usual mode for distance 16 km (at warm weather) that liquid got warm up to the working temperature (not less than 60-70 °C). After a long trip, or a trip with big loading wait not less than 30 min.

3. Install the car on an equal horizontal platform, turn on the emergency brake, start the engine and press a brake pedal. Translate the lever of the selector from situation P through all range and again put in situation P.

4. Get the control probe from a branch pipe (the engine continues to idle), wipe the probe. |
5. Again insert the probe into a branch pipe. |
6. Get the probe and check liquid level. Level has to be in the range the designated Hot (hot). On cold transmission level has to be in Cold range (cold). If it is necessary to add liquid, accurately pour in necessary amount of liquid of the corresponding brand through a branch pipe. |
7. To add liquid through a funnel in the small portions (the amount of liquid between marks of Hot makes about 0,57 l. |
8. If liquid of black color, or possesses a "burned" smell, liquid should be replaced (see subsection 2.35). |
