Check of level of oil in a reducer

A. A control / filling opening in a reducer case.

B. Drain otverstit in a reducer case.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the car on a viewing hole, a platform, or on supports, having tracked that the car settled down horizontally.

2. Turn off a stopper of a control opening in a reducer case. On cars with self-locking differential about a stopper the plate with the indication of lubricants and terms of greasing is strengthened.

3. Having pushed a finger in an opening, be convinced to the touch that the level of oil is about bottom edge of an opening.

4. If oil level insufficient, add oil of the necessary brand through a control opening.

5. Tighten a stopper.
