2.29. Replacement of candles
GENERAL INFORMATION

At acquisition of candles be guided by data on the information plate under a cowl.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Believe a gap in new candles. If necessary turn in a lateral electrode for adjustment of a gap.
2. Disconnect wires, holding tips.
Prevention

On engines of 3,4 l of V6 on which there is no distributor, for access to candles remove the corresponding coils of ignition.
3. Clear platforms near vecha and turn out candles.
4. Check the turned-out candles and define a condition of the engine.
5. Grease carvings of new candles with structure from a holding strap, dress a piece of a hose on a candle and carefully wrap a candle. Tighten a candle with the set moment.
6. Dress wires, slightly rotating tips and pressuring them.
