1. The condition of the filter should be checked in breaks between replacements. |
2. On engines of 3,4 l of V6 the filter is mounted on the right side of a motor compartment. |
3. On engines of 3,0 l of V6 the filter is mounted on the left side of a motor compartment. |

4. Disconnect latches. Disconnect all hoses which can interfere with removal of the filter from the case of the air filter. Get a cover, thereby having provided access to the replaced element (shooters specified latches on the filter case). |

5. Get the filtering element. |
6. Examine an external surface of an element, blow it at first from within, and then outside compressed air, previously having convinced of integrity and of lack of oiling of an element. If the purge does not yield results, replace the filtering element. |
7. The filtering element is established upside-down. |
