11.26. Lock of ignition and drum of the lock

 Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Disconnect a safety cushion (see subsection 11.44).
3. Remove a wheel.
4. Remove a casing of a steering column.
5. Hook and get an overlay of the lock of ignition.
6. Disconnect sockets from the lock.
7. Check existence of a chain between lock conclusions.
8. Between conclusions of a chain should not be in the family way of the LOCK lock.
9. The chain has to be in the family way of the ASS lock between conclusions 2 and 3.
10. The chain has to be in the family way of the ON lock between conclusions 2, 3 and 4 and conclusions 6 and 7.
11. The chain has to be in the family way of the START lock between conclusions 1, 2 and 4 and conclusions 6, 7 and 8.
12. Check lack of short circuit of contacts of the switch of the alarm system of the key left in the lock. For what transfer the switch to the situation Off and get a key.
13. Insert a key and transfer the switch to the situation On, between contacts 1 and 2 there has to be a chain.
14. If results of check negative, the switch replace.

Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute stages 1-6.
2. Insert a key into the lock and transfer to situation ASSORTMENT.
3. Having inserted a thin screw-driver into the lower opening of the cast case of the lock, wring out a latch, at the same time giving the lock on themselves.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down.
