Check of a side play in the lower spherical support

Check

Condition of spherical support it is necessary to check every time when raising the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a car front.
2. Clear support and check a condition of sealants.
3. Raise the car, having substituted a jack under the lower lever of a suspension bracket to unload a support.
4. Shake a wheel mount, at the same time checking a side play in a support (it is carried out with the assistant). If a side play considerable, a support replace (see rice. Check of a side play in the lower spherical support).
5. Shake the top support. Replace a support if the considerable side play is found.
6. The support should be checked at each removal of a fist or support.
7. For check try to turn a support finger by hand.
8. If the finger is turned by hand, replace a support.
9. The manufacturer recommends more exact way.
10. Shake a support finger from yourself and on yourself 5 times then wrap a nut.
11. The Dinamometrichesky key with a scale in some N. m check the moment of resistance to a finger provorachivaniye.
12. Turn a finger a key, doing 1 turn for 2–4 sec. On the 5th turn check indications of the moment and compare with standard (see subsection 9.1).
13. If the moment differs from norm, replace a support.

Replacement of the top support

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a fist.
2. Remove a collar, a cover and get a lock ring.
3. Vypressuyte a support a stripper through a mandrel (1 – a deep mandrel).
4. If the hinge is replaced, press it a hydraulic press through 2 mandrels
(1 – mandrel).
5. Further assembly is carried out upside-down.
6. Tighten all fastenings of a suspension bracket with the set moment.

Replacement of the lower support

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect steering draft.
2. Disconnect a fist from the lower lever.
3. Turn off bolts and remove the lower support.
4. Establish a new support and tighten bolts with the set moment.
5. Further assembly is carried out upside-down.
