Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 2. Merge cooling liquid. |
| 3. Remove a leveling chamber, fuel tubes and nozzles. |
| 4. Remove a final collector. |
| 5. Remove the generator and the distributor (if it is provided). |
| 6. Remove the soaking-up collector |
| 7. Take off a gear belt, asterisks of cam-shafts and the top roller of a natyazhitel. |
| 8. Remove the top cover of a belt. |
| 9. Remove a cam-shaft from the dismantled head. |
|
10. On engines of 3,4 l turn off bolts with internal vents (on one on a head) (1 – a 6-faced key). |
| 11. In the specified sequence release bolts of a head of cylinders, turning off each bolt on 1/4 turns at one time (see rice. An order of a tightening of bolts of a head of cylinders on engines of 3,0 l or rice. An order of a tightening of bolts of a head of cylinders on engines 3,4, k). |
| 12. Carefully remove a head of cylinders, having displaced easy blows through a wooden pro-rate. |
| 13. Execute the same procedures for other head. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Clear demountable surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders. |
| 2. Accurately (having taken measures that dirt did not get to openings) scrape off a deposit and the remains of material of laying. |
| 3. Check existence on the demountable planes of a head and the block of cylinders of zadir, chips, hollows and other damages. Insignificant damages can be eliminated with a file, at serious damages the head or the block are subject to repolishing. |
| 4. Blow compressed air all channels and openings, banish carvings a tap. |
| 5. Banish carvings of bolts a die. |
|
6. Put new laying on the block of cylinders, focusing them on pins. |
| 7. Carefully establish a head on the block of cylinders, without violating the provision of laying. |
| 8. Oil persistent surfaces of heads of bolts for the engine. |
| 9. Wrap by hand bolts of a head of cylinders on their former places. Gradually tighten bolts with the moment of the 1st stage (see subsection 3.2.1) in the specified sequence (see rice. An order of a tightening of bolts of a head of cylinders on engines of 3,0 l or rice. An order of a tightening of bolts of a head of cylinders on engines 3,4, k). Do not wrap bolts with internal vents. |
| 10. Tighten bolts in 2 stages, at each stage on 90 °, observing sequence. |
| 11. On engines of 3,4 l tighten a bolt with internal vents with the set moment. |
| 12. Execute the same actions for other head. |
|
13. Further assembly is carried out upside-down. Fill the cooling system with liquid. Start the engine, be convinced of lack of a leak.
