Caps of channels of the cooling system are densely pressed in the block of cylinders.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |

|
1. In blows to stupid part of a core turn caps (a photo at the left) and get flat-nose pliers (a photo on the right). |
2. Carefully clear the block of the consolidation remains. |
3. Uncover radical bearings and get bearings from the block of cylinders and covers. Designate all details and store so that not to mix them. |
4. Clean all channels a vapor jet and compressed air (it is recommended to carry out in car service), wash out the block outside detergent. |

5. Banish all carving openings, clean and blow compressed air. |
6. Dry the block and oil the processed surfaces the low-viscous. For cleaning turn out caps of oil channels. |
7. Establish covers of radical bearings, tighten bolts by hand. |
|
8. Press new caps without distortions, previously having greased them with Permatex N2 sealant. |
9. Turn on the same sealant of a cap of oil channels. |

Check of a state
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. At detection of outer defects (cracks and chips), repair the block or replace. It is recommended to check existence of internal defects in the block of cylinders for what it is necessary to hand over the block in a workshop of car service. |

2. Check a condition of a surface, ovality and conicity of cylinders, having measured diameter in three planes, the cylinder under a fillet, in the center and in the most lower part, in the directions parallel and perpendicular block axes. |
|
3. Take measurements by means of a telescopic nutrometr. |
4. If results differ from standard, the block should be handed over in repair. After restoration of the block pistons and rings of the repair sizes will be necessary. |
5. If the condition of cylinders accepted wear of the cylinder and a gap between the cylinder and the piston do not exceed the established norms, cylinders are required to be otkhonningovat (see subsection 3.3.11). |

6. Check deformation of the demountable plane of the block of cylinders. If the deviation from the plane exceeds norm, the block should be proshlifovat in car service. |
