4.7.1. Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the working heated-up engine press the top hose of a radiator and gradually release. At the serviceable pump in a hose the liquid pressure has to be felt.
	2. The control opening for a liquid drain is provided in the pump (it is shown by an arrow). At failure of an epiploon of the pump through a control opening cooling liquid follows. To find this opening it is necessary to illuminate space behind the conducted pump flange, directly under shaft.
3. Wear of bearings can be defined shaking the pump up and down and on characteristic howl in forward part of the engine. Also the sliping drive belt therefore it is possible to draw a wrong conclusion on malfunction of the pump can make a sound, close on a tonality. To exclude a sound from a belt put with dispersion special structure for automobile belts.
