Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. If the index does not register temperature, check safety locks. |
2. If the sensor shows a condition of "Hot" ("hot") right after start-up of the cold engine, disconnect a wire from the sensor. If the indication falls, replace the sensor. If the indication remains overestimated, the reasons can be short circuit on the mass of a wire of the sensor, or malfunction of the index. |
3. If the sensor ceases to show temperature after full warming up of the engine (about 10 minutes later after start-up), and safety locks are serviceable, arrive as follows. Stop the engine, disconnect a wire from the sensor and a piece of a wire close a sensor wire on well cleared engine site. Include for a short time ignition but do not start the engine. If the index shows "Hot" now, replace the sensor. |
4. If indications of the sensor are absent, break in a chain (see subsection 11.18), or malfunction of the index can be the cause. |
