GENERAL INFORMATION

Use of the receiver

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn on the receiver, having pressed the L.M.U button., choose the stereo mode - or monophonic reception, or press the TI button for reception of station of a broadcasting of road information (see below). On the display there will be L, M symbols, or U. The receiver can also be turned on pressing the PWR.VOL handle.
2. Adjust loudness, turning the PWR.VOL handle.
3. Be adjusted on the necessary station (see Control for station and Programming of control).
4. At control for VHF station the receiver will automatically switch in the stereo reception mode. On the display there will be a ST symbol.
5. If the signal weak, occurs automatic narrowing of a strip of reception for the purpose of decrease in noise.
6. If the signal very weak, occurs automatic switching of the receiver on the monophonic mode of reception.
7. Adjust a timbre and balance (see Adjustment of a timbre and Adjustment of balance).
8. To switch off the receiver, press the PWR.VOL handle.

Control for station

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Be adjusted on the necessary station by means of one of the ways offered below. On the display there will be a value of frequency of control.
Control in the program mode
2. It is used for control for in advance programmed station (see control Programming).
3. Press several times the LMU button until on the display there is no the chosen information.
4. Press the button with number which was in advance appropriated to the necessary station. There is a control for the necessary station, and on the display there will be number of the button of the necessary station.
Mode of continuous search
5. In this mode there is an automatic search of station. After reception of station control automatically stops.
6. Press at the same time on both parties the TUNE SEEK buttons and wait for a continuous sound signal. The receiver will start carrying out automatically search of the nearest station with higher or lower frequency of a broadcasting.
7. After a consistent reception control stops. By each subsequent pressing of the button search will proceed to a consistent reception of the following station.
8. If because of too weak signal it is not possible to be adjusted after single scanning in all range of frequencies, search will proceed, but at hypersensibility, and on the display there will be a symbol of DX.
Manual control
9. Press at the same time on both parties the TUNE SEEK buttons for a while not exceeding 0,5 sec. By each pressing of the button occurs pereskok to the frequency at which the broadcasting is possible.

Control programming

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Press several times the LMU button until on the display there is no designation of the chosen range of L, M or U.
2. You can establish to six stations in each chosen range (on each pressed button). At installation of station check those ranges in which the necessary control already is.
3. Be adjusted on the necessary station (see Control for station).
4. Press one of buttons of a choice of station and wait for a sound signal. Thus the station will automatically join when pressing this button, which number will appear on the display.
5. To bring control for new station in memory repeat the procedure described above.
6. Control for the programmed station is erased at power off (a battery detachment, burn-out of a safety lock, etc.).

Obtaining road information from RDS system (radio data)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The receiver will automatically switch in the mode of reception of the station broadcasting RDS information when switching on VHF range. When switching on the display there will be a name of the relevant radio station and a RDS symbol.
2. If to be adjusted on the new VHF station broadcasting RDS-information, on the display there will be a value of frequency, and in 5 sec. there will be a name of the relevant radio station.
3. Control for the necessary station which broadcasts road information, is carried out by one of the next ways.
Control by programming, automatic search and manually
4. The order of control is described above.
Control by scanning in all range
5. When on the display there is a symbol of TR (Traffic Program), it means that this station will broadcast road information and data of EON.
6. The receiver is switched to TI range by pressing of the TI button. Thus on the display there will be a TI symbol.
7. If later 20 sec. after pressing of the TI button the receiver does not find station, search of station on the basis of the list of alternative frequencies (AF list) which comes to an end at detection of station will begin.
8. Warns a sound signal and a SEARCH symbol on the display about transition of the receiver to such mode.
9. If it is not possible to be adjusted on station after single scanning in all range because of a weak signal, scanning will repeat, but at hypersensibility to what the symbol of DX on the display will testify.
10. If the signal too weak, the receiver stops search and on the display for 2 seconds there will be NOTHING.
11. If within 20 more seconds the receiver is not adjusted on station of TI range, scanning will be started anew.
12. When on the display there is TI, the receiver will accept TI station only in that case if control is made by search in the automatic mode.
13. If obtaining road information is required, and the station on which the receiver is adjusted, broadcasts other program, press the TI button and hold until on the display there is no symbol THAT (Traffic Announcement).
14. At emergence of this symbol the receiver ceases to accept all programs except road or if transfer of road information at the moment is absent, and the cartridge is inserted into a player, the player which is automatically switched off at the time of the beginning of a broadcasting of road information joins.
15. After the end of transfer or if the signal becomes weak, the previous program joins.
16. To come back from the mode of reception of road information to the usual mode press the TI button and hold until from the display the symbol THAT does not disappear.
Control for the tracking mode on networks (NF mode). It is used for search of RDS station in all strip of frequencies
17. Press the NF button and hold no more than 2 sec., thus the receiver will be adjusted on RDS station, and the accepted program will not interrupt. On the display there will be a NF symbol.
18. At deterioration of conditions of reception control for station which broadcasts the same program, will be made on the basis of the list of the alternative frequencies received from RDS station.

Adjustment of a timbre

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For adjustment of reproduction in to acquire the lower frequencies press several times the MODE button until on the display there is no BASS O.
2. Then press the level button from any party and establish the necessary timbre. Adjustment range – from BASS-10 to BASS +10, the level of a timbre is displayed on the display.
3. For adjustment of reproduction in to acquire the top frequencies press several times the MODE button until on the display there is no TREB O.
4. Then press the level button from any party and establish the necessary timbre. Adjustment range – from TREB-10 to TREB +10, the level of a timbre is displayed on the display.

Adjustment of balance

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Two loudspeakers
1. Press several times the MODE button until on the display there is no BAL O.
2. Then press the level button from any party and establish the necessary balance.
3. Range of adjustment of balance for the left and right loudspeakers - from BAL L14 to BAL R14, the level of balance is displayed on the display.
Four loudspeakers
4. For control of balance between the left and right loudspeaker press several times the MODE button until on the display there is no BAL O.
5. Then press the level button from any party and establish the necessary balance.
6. Range of adjustment of balance – from BAL L14 to BAL + R14, the level of balance is displayed on the display.
7. For control of balance between forward and back loudspeakers press several times the MODE button until on the display there is no FADE O.
8. Then press the level button from any party and establish the necessary balance.
9. Range of adjustment of balance of forward and back loudspeakers – from FADE F14 to FADE R14, the level of balance is displayed on the display.
