GENERAL INFORMATION

The plate with identification number of the car
The plate with identification number of the car is strengthened on the windshield feedwell from the driver.

It is used at registration of the car. The plate with number of the car (VIN number) is strengthened on the windshield feedwell from the driver. In the plate the date of issue, the manufacturer and type of a body is specified.

Place of drawing number on 4-cylinder engines

 On 4-cylinder engines till 1990 number is beaten out in the right part of the block of cylinders.

Place of drawing number on 6-cylinder engines

 On V6 engines number also is in the left part of the block, near an oil filter.
