6.2.5. The blocking switch

GENERAL INFORMATION

The switch blocks start of the engine in all provisions of the selector except P and N. Otherwise check or replacement of the switch is required.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car.
2. Disconnect the socket from the switch.
	3. At the switched-off ignition check resistance between switch conclusions (see the tab. Resistance between switch conclusions). If necessary adjust the switch or replace.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Transfer the selector to situation N.
	2. Release a bolt of the switch (2) and adjust situation, for this purpose release a bolt, insert a flute (3) in the area of a neutral (1) and, holding the switch, tighten a bolt.
	3. For replacement of the switch raskontrit a washer and turn off a nut.
4. Turn off a bolt and remove the switch.
5. Assembly is carried out upside-down. Adjust the switch.
