6.1.4. Check point control lever

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the central section of the forward panel (see subsection 10.24).
2. Unscrew the lever handle (a photo at the left). Unscrew 4 screws (are shown by shooters on a photo on the right), remove a cover and a flange.
3. On part of cars 4WD covers of both levers fasten one flange.
4. Remove a small cover of the check point lever (a photo at the left). On some check points press the lever, turn counterclockwise (a photo on the right).
5. Remove the lever.
6. Installation is carried out upside-down. Grease the rubbing lever surfaces with jellied greasing.
